LeBron James Won't Play For Team USA

Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James has told The Athletic he will not play for Team USA in this summer's FIBA World Cup in China. The team will be coached by Gregg Popovich and James said: "I love everything about Pop, obviously, but this is not a good summer for me."

Instead of playing for Team USA, he will film 'Space Jam 2'. 

James will miss the NBA postseason this year for the first time since 2005; he won't play another game until October.

James is also a two-time Olympic gold medalist, and he has not ruled out playing for Team USA in the 2020 Summer Olympics in Japan.

"Yeah, that's a possibility. It depends on how I feel. I love the Olympics."
