A fight began in the most recent Bulls/Thunder game with Kris Dunn pushing Jerami Grant, and then Jerami Grant pushing Kris Dunn even harder. Then, Robin Lopez came over and Grant flipped him almost into the first row.
A couple of minutes later, Lopez dropped the ball on Grant and was tossed, but not before Steven Adams patted him on the back as he was headed to the locker room.

But this was how Lopez explained his ejection....
Lopez on his ejection: “They needed the ball to shoot the free throws. I was just trying to alleviate the refs’ workload.”— K.C. Johnson (@KCJHoop) December 18, 2018
More Lopez on dropping ball on Grant: "I thought the refs had done enough. They had an abnormally large workload for the first half of that quarter. I wanted to help them out, ease their pain a little bit, ease their burden. And I guess not everybody saw it the same way."— K.C. Johnson (@KCJHoop) December 18, 2018
"To be honest, it’s really not that big a deal," the Bulls coach said. "Those things used to happen all the time. Now they happen and it’s like a major deal. It’s not that big a deal. Everybody moved on."
